B'ville Police Blotter: Three face DWI charges

— At 9:12 p.m. July 9, officers received a report from Sheriff’s deputies who were working the traffic control crossing detail at Syracuse and Marble streets of an operator of a vehicle that failed to comply with their directions. The driver had nearly struck the deputies and they ordered the driver to pull to the side of the roadway and members of the Baldwinsville Police Department were notified. The driver was identified as Robert W. Morenz, 56, of 10 Triangle Place, Baldwinsville. After investigation, Morenz was arrested and charged with DWI, aggravated DWI and failure to comply with a lawful order. He was processed and released on his own recognizance to appear in court Aug. 24.

At 11:09 p.m. July 9, a report was received regarding a possibly intoxicated driver and the vehicle was located and stopped on E. Genesee Street. The driver was identified as Richard M. Temple, 47, of 214 Lynnhaven Dr., North Syracuse. Alcohol involvement was detected and after investigation, Temple was arrested and charged with DWI, aggravated DWI and failure to keep right. He was processed and released on his own recognizance to appear in village court Aug. 10.

On July 30 at 2:20 a.m., a vehicle was observed on Downer Street crossing over into the oncoming lane of travel. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was identified as Megan Crouch, of 110 Vine St., F-30, Liverpool. Investigation revealed alcohol involvement and Crouch was arrested and charged with DWI and failure to keep right. She was processed and released on her own recognizance to appear in court Aug. 24.

Traffic stop leads to drug arrests

At 4:20 p.m. July 16, an operator of a vehicle was observed talking on his cell phone while on West Genesee Street. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was identified as Guy H. Burnham Jr., 21, of 21 Cross County Dr., Baldwinsville. Further investigation revealed that Burnham was in possession of marijuana and cocaine. He was subsequently arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. A passenger in the vehicle, Vincent C. Corsitto, 23, of 8885 Kilkenny Dr., Baldwinsville was also found to be in possession of marijuana and was charged with unlawful possession of marihuana. Both were processed and released on their own recognizance to appear in court Aug. 24.

I guess these are the last crimes reported since July.......boy we really live in a safe community or someone isnt doing there job.
