Baldwinsville — AAA Western and Central New York has announced its Automotive “Top Shop” winners for 2011 including Baldwinsville’s own Hudson & Mowins (62 E. Genesee St.) and Lou’s Car Care Center (7361 State Fair Boulevard). Winners of the annual award are participants in AAA’s Approved Auto Repair program and have met the highest standards for automotive repair and customer service.
Between September 2010 and August 2011, AAA reviewed service evaluation cards received from customers who had work completed at one of the many AAA Approved facilities for auto repair and collision work in Central New York. The facilities were then ranked and designated “Top Shops” based on customer satisfaction ratings.
Overall, seven repair facilities and one collision shop were recognized as “Top Shops.”
Repair centers displaying the AAA Approved sign excel in workmanship, service, training, appearance and reputation. To ensure these high standards are maintained, AAA inspects approved facilities annually and continually monitors their performance. All motorists benefit from knowing that these repair facilities have met AAA’s high standards.

Me and two friends thought about making car donations and buying new ones. The AAA shop offered to do all the repairs for free if we went forward and donated the older cars to charity. This way, they were able to contribute too to a noble cause. They are the best when it comes to car care and I am glad their efforts and hard work brought them this prize.
