On March 29, Ray Middle School held its second annual career fair for its seventh-grade students. More than 60 professionals representing a variety of careers were available to answer students’ questions about their job responsibilities, education and training, and other aspects of their professions. As part of the seventh-grade family and consumer sciences curriculum, students explore career possibilities and learn interviewing skills, how to write a resume and how to fill out a job application.
