Baldwinsville — Lysander’s Town Clerk Lisa Dell has announced the addition of a lost pet page to the town’s website, townoflysander.org, to assist residents in the event their pet became lost.
“I have a genuine love for all animals and it breaks my heart when I am notified of a dog or other pet that was picked up with no owner contact information or when someone loses their pet,” Dell said. “The lost pet page is another resource that my office provides to assist in bringing our lost, loved ones home.”
Dell said the site is available to everyone, not just residents.
“As we know, our pets do not know jurisdictional lines and can cross into other communities,” she said. “Anyone can submit a description of their pet including uploading a photo.”
