Baldwinsville The Lysander Town Board recently hired Testone, Marshall & Discenza CPAs, an independent consulting firm, to examine internal financial reporting, which includes assessing current controls over financial reporting, compliance with laws and regulations, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations to implement best practices. Officials anticipate the cost to be between $12,000 and $14,000. Hugh Kimball, a Lysander resident, expressed concern with the action as the town already has an on-staff comptroller and the supervisor is a former CPA. In addition, the state recently audited the town. Supervisor John Salisbury said the town had already found problems and felt the action would benefit the town as it will set needed guidelines.

This is old news. Why no coverage of the potential crimes associated with TDR and the milking of the taxpayers?

Hugh Kimball - Lysander resident and prominent member of the LieSlander Rethuglican Committee. He just doesn't want all the LRC dirty secrets in the light of day.

How about a story on the Attorney General looking at the potential criminal acts associated with the TDR program? You know you guys are allowed to ask questions at meetings. You are press.
