— Community Wesleyan Church in Baldwinsville invites families to its annual Easter Eggstravaganza held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 7. Kids of all ages, parents and grandparents can enjoy interactive discovery stations that use hands-on participation to share the real story of Easter. Kids can make a craft, have their faces painted, dye an egg, frost a cookie, watch a movie, walk through an Easter story-drama, enjoy a snack and more at their own pace throughout the morning. An egg hunt will take place just before noon to wrap up the event.

“We hope families from the community will feel welcome to come on out for this free event,” said coordinator Kim Rice. “Kids will have a great time, and while they’re having fun, they’ll also be learning why we celebrate Easter, to rejoice that Christ rose from the dead.”

Community Wesleyan Church is located at 112 Downer St. in the village of Baldwinsville. Parking is available off Frawley Drive or Ford Street. For more information, call the church office at 638-2222 or 635-3501 or visit the church website at communitywesleyanchurch.com.
