Baldwinsville — Please accept my apology to you and the people of Lysander for my part of the rhetoric and smoke in the air around town lately concerning the highway department.
What started out in May sounding like some nice ideas and generalized intentions that I could easily embrace have not been developed and clarified although it’s now mid-October and time to make firm decisions. I simply cannot justify jumping on a bandwagon without any idea of its itinerary. It might be on a path to paradise or blind alley road; flip a coin to figure that out.
Our supervisor and his team have no answers other than to express their displeasure with me for speaking out. It’s okay though, I still like them and am thankful that they selected me to be your highway superintendent.
