Baldwinsville — Father Joseph Scardella, right, blesses Casey Burke’s dog Bailey during the Feast of St. Francis held Oct. 4 at St. Mary's Academy in Baldwinsville. Students were able to bring their pets to school for a special blessing by Father Scardella. The children enjoyed showing off their pets, which included dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, and more, to teachers and other students.
