Baldwinsville — Parker Hysick, a second-grader at Palmer Elementary School, presents Anthony Richmond, left, of the More Than a Game Foundation with a check for $4,858 for the Golisano Children’s Hospital. With Parker are Timothy Solomon, boys varsity basketball coach, his father Ron Hysick, and Christopher Campolieta, athletic director. The Baldwinsville boys varsity basketball team joined forces with the West Genesee varsity basketball team for a Hoops for the Hospital fundraiser at Baldwinsville’s home game on Dec. 20. The teams played the game in honor of Parker, who is in remission from leukemia.
