Baker delves into students’ family histories

David Minnoe chose hockey as the theme of his family tree, which he created out of old hockey sticks. He explained that the game has been a favorite activity for him and several family members.

— Students in teacher Nicole Campbell’s U.S. History class at Baker High School recently dug into their family histories to understand their ancestors and the significant events and characteristics that have shaped their families. Students chose themes such as sports and food to reflect the essence of their family histories and to create a family tree.
